Who we help
We believe that everyone has a role to play in helping to co-create hopeful, sustainable, resilient futures. To do that, we need to understand today’s sustainability challenge and work out how we can take action: individually and collectively, in society, business and elsewhere.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the groups we help.
Businesses and teams that want to use the future as a way to identify risks and opportunities, innovate and adapt, and align themselves with sustainable goals to drive long-term success.
Universities, higher education institutions, and schools that want to use the future think strategically about possibilities in education and take steps to actively and intentionally shape preferred futures.
Museums and heritage organisations that want to explore the past and the future to define a vision that makes them relevant in the present and beyond.
NGOs and not-for-profits that want to use the future to identify multiple pathways, explore scenarios, and find ways to serve their stakeholders better, both now and in possible futures.
Policy makers and think tanks that want to build futures literacy to challenge long-held assumptions, encourage innovative thinking, and learn how to use the future in their work.
Communities that want to explore and experience possible futures to work out what is desirable, what isn’t, and start to creating the future they want.
Educators and teachers who want to build futures literacy in themselves and their students and develop the ability to adapt in the face of uncertainty.
Change makers, activists and communicators that want to incorporate principles from futures literacy, futures thinking and foresight into their work to provoke thought, dialogue and change.
Individuals who want to learn how to become futures literate so that they can anticipate possible futures, shape the present, and adapt in the face of rapid change.
